[Case Study] Problem-Solving Example of a Two-Component Mixing Line
Proposal for the introduction of a static mixer! Cases where costs and maintenance have been reduced, and variations have been minimized.
There is a process for mixing water and sodium hypochlorite solution in the water purification equipment within the factory. The existing equipment was mixing the two liquids in a tank using a stirrer, but there were issues such as "the mixing of the liquids is not homogeneous." Therefore, we proposed the introduction of a static mixer. As a result, we were very pleased to find that costs and maintenance were reduced, and variations were minimized, rather than considering the installation of a new tank. 【Overview】 ■ Issues - The mixing of the liquids is not homogeneous (there are temperature and viscosity variations due to uneven mixing) - Updating incurs costs for auxiliary equipment such as tanks, pumps, and stirrers - Storage in the tank is necessary → there is a risk of decay if not used for an extended period ■ Benefits of Implementation - Costs and maintenance are reduced, and variations are minimized *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
